{MERC} was formed in January of 2002 by Raz and WarWizard for the Aliens vs. Predator 2 game. For many years, AvP2 was the sole game played by the clan. The principles set out by the founders have remained intact since the founding of {MERC} and have helped to provide stability in transitioning into new games and platforms.

Since the decline of AvP2, {MERC} has ventured into the Call of Duty series, Battlefield 2142, Jedi Knight Academy, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, and recently some {MERC}s have moved into the Xbox 360 live arena in addition to PC games.

{MERC} is a growing gaming community, with many members playing different games just to game with the friends we made years ago. Having fun while playing with honor are the keys to our member's attitudes, and these traits are what have always drawn people to our clan. If these traits are what draw you to gaming, fill out a recruitment form and meet up with some {MERC}s in game. Letting our members get to know you in the forums and in game are the best ways to speed up the application process.

We are eagerly awaiting the release of AvP3 in 2010, and are quite impressed with what we've seen from the trailer and screenshots. Until then, you can find us in Guild Wars, CoD, WoW, and chatting in the forums. Thanks for visiting our home, good luck and have fun!
